"BUILD YOUR HOUSE UPON THE ROCK"

I had a dream a few days ago, I went to visit a friend's church for the sake of supporting more than anything. As I went inside and sat down I saw people like normal in the seating area inside the church none wearing masks. They tried to greet me and hugs and such but I was keeping my distance, trying to be safe. Also it was dark inside the church.

Inside the church it was like no person was fully concerned about the risk of the virus. Later, it seemed only a scattered few were wearing a mask and the people for the most part seemed subdued, quiet, fightless. It was a culture unto itself inside the church. There was a stage setting, like a concert venue. The service started and then the preaching started and then I had to leave suddenly. The Lord was impressing on me urgently to leave right then and partly because of what was happening inside and outside. I could not tell if the word was being preached. I believe if it was the word I would have heard it.

As I went to try and go outside to my vehicle, people were trying to pull on me and prevent me from leaving. In the parking lot it had begun to rain and a sinkhole had opened up right underneath what I perceived was the pastor's vehicle. A lady got in and tried to move the car even though I warned her do not get in it. As she struggled to get the vehicle out of the growing sinkhole, the rain increased and the hole was getting larger and the vehicle was descending. The wheels spun and her efforts were fruitless. I went back inside the church to warn them and the pastor could not be found. Everyone was looking for him. Also my friend had disappeared too. I could not find her. I went back outside to leave and things had escalated in the parking lot and the dream ended.

COMMENTARY The more I prayed about this dream the more the Lord has been speaking. Thus, I felt the release to share. I don't know who it may help. The main scripture I heard the Holy Spirit speak was from Matthew 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. In context you can read verses 24-28.

I believe the greatest message of this dream is the warning of what happens to Believers when we do not live with the firm foundation of the Word of God in our lives. Today's culture has permeated the church as much as it has the world. The church makes the effort to filter or clean up some things that were brought in from the world. Ultimately, throughout this dream it is clear there is a reckless approach from the headship that permeated throughout the followers or members, thereby impacting their personal lives and the quality and character of their choices. A lack of discerning can be so detrimental. Recklessness will flow from the head down even as anointing flows down just as the Bible teaches.

I am praying that God's leaders will be humble and submit to God and follow the word and allow the leading of the Holy Spirit to direct every operation. That safety and concern for people and teaching Truth is at the forefront of their hearts. That they will be pastors after God's heart. That mammon is not the ruling spirit in the house, but will be wiped out and dismantled from ministries everywhere. God does not like it when his people are not nurtured and cared for by those he has called to lead.

MORE COMMENTARY The woman in the dream who tried to move the pastor's vehicle out of the sinkhole represents how the congregants or followers of the ministry are being impacted. She was putting her own life at risk to try and save the pastor's vehicle despite my warning. This just reminded me of the scripture where the bible says that the shepherd goeth before the sheep from John 10:4. Read John 10:1-6 John 10:4And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
