NO TIME FOR STASIS - STAY IGNITED

ree

This morning as I was praying and meditating on the scripture, I heard the Lord say the word stasis. As I began to look deeper I saw that stasis is a ceasing of flow, a stoppage of activity, and also: "A state or period of stability during which little or no evolutionary change in a lineage occurs." There are more definitions but that one blew my mind. It got my attention. I got so excited because God was saying of all his forms and the way in which he manifests himself in our lives, none of that includes "stasis" Let us live connected and on fire.

His blood flows, His Spirit flows, His fire is all consuming. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. (John 1:4) We can keep going. The reality is, God is continually transforming us from glory to glory as we commit to staying connected to him. He he is the true vine. There is always movement in the kingdom. Even if the whole world is standing still, you can still have more of Jesus. Not only that, but the Father's desire is to see us transformed to the image of his dear Son. And the more we chase after Him, the more we experience the fullness and a flowing forth of the Spirit. Chase after God.

The enemy wants you to be silenced, stay quiet and live in unbelief because his goal is to steal kill and destroy, but God says I have come that you might have life and life more abundantly. (John 10:10) Take time to reckon what is your experience and make sure your life is reflecting the movement of the Spirit, the flow, the fire, the light and life of Jesus.

Blessings, Pastor Ann,
