SERVANTS OF SIN UNTO DEATH OR OF OBEDIENCE UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS?

This was a word the Lord gave in a dream I had after midnight 05/31/2021.

Romans 6:16 KJV Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

The Lord was highlighting to me that there is stark contrast between serving sin and obedience to the Lord, thus serving righteousness. I know that may seem obvious to some but to the many God is speaking to here is what the Lord says:

I saw in the vision of the Lord notable television people who represented the entertainment industry, CELEBRITIES. I also saw luxury cruise liners. One extremely huge more large than I have ever personally seen. This one was glistening and reflecting so much light as if covered with diamonds that caught the light. And, one that was just your customary size luxury cruise liner. They were both at a port where ships dock. I saw a mixture of things which represent the many things people seek after and will work their hearts to a frizzle to obtain either the things or the recognition for themselves.

When I asked the Lord what does this mean? He said the root of these pursuits is that these become servants of that which they are pursuing. Wow! In contrast however, when we are pursuing Christ first and foremost we will get a totally different outcome. Our hearts become tempered in the right pursuits. We are securing our eternal future rather than temporal POSSESSIONS. We do not have to work to keep or to obtain what Christ has freely given. That which he purchased with his own blood even while we were each in a messed up state (servants of sin).

May we position our hearts unto the obedience of Christ that we become tempered with His Spirit. Transformed to his image and no longer servants of sin or of earthly pursuits, in the name of Jesus. Lord give us this grace, amen.
