THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS WARNING US Be careful who and what you allow to lead you around and guide you in both natural and spiritual things. Some folks are intentionally causing your detours and delays. They are misdirecting you and causing true purposes and destinies to be aborted. And some folks are simply ignorant of the truth and of what your true needs are. This way and this mindset have become an idol. Be careful because for some it is done even for loyalty's sake. IRL study to show yourself approved, (2 Timothy 2:15) hunger and thirst for righteousness, (Matthew 5:6) seek ye first the kingdom of God.(Matthew 6:33) The Spirit of the Lord is warning us, do not make an idol out of people, positions, protocols and processes. The Holy Spirit will teach you how to navigate any situation you are facing. In the last day the only one standing before God, looking to hear well done will be you. (Matthew 25:21) The Lord showed me in a dream that some are allowing themselves to be tied to a process, or a protocol or a people because this is how they have become accustomed to how things are done. As a result, they are allowing themselves to be limited in one way or another and boxed in. The most significant issue I could see was the detours, delays, and missed and aborted purposes and destinies. In the dream, the spirit that was leading, it was clear after discerning this spirit was in no way connected to God. This was the spirit of the world. This spirit leading didn’t have a concern for anyone’s outcome spiritually or naturally. This is truly a warning from the Lord. Do not allow the spirit of idolatry, especially in following worldly protocols and processes to rule in your life and cause you to circumvent truly seeking the Lord for what is his plan, instructions, and desire over your life both spiritually and naturally. Jesus showed the example when he recalled the scripture: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me out of Luke chapter four and verse 18. God has a purpose and a plan for each of us and that must come first and in all things. His Spirit is upon us for a purpose. Jesus broke all protocols and processes in favor and in obedience to what the Father had destined for him to do. PRAYER: May we seek to lay hold of that very purpose through our genuine pursuit of Jesus Christ. (John 14:6) May we each seek to do the will of God for our lives, in real life, at work, at school, within the family structure. And let not idolatry nor any other formatted weapon of the enemy cause us to detour, abort, delay, or destroy that which God has purposed for our lives. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
